Upgrade of Dispensaries to Health Centers Tanzania

Location:

Central Diocese (Singida Region) Tanzania

Expertise: 

The individuals should have experience and expertise in clinic or rural hospital management, work in low-middle income countries would be beneficial, but is not required.

Project Overview:

The goal of the consultation is to support the Central Diocese health programs to bring 4 of their dispensaries to the health center level. This consultation is in partnership with the Southeastern MN Synod of the ELCA. One or two individuals will be needed, depending on whether someone from the Synod serves as a consultant.

Time Commitment: 

This is a 3-year project. During the three years we anticipate 1-2 visits to Tanzania each year. Zoom calls with the team will occur monthly during the first year and quarterly thereafter. Costs associated with travel would be covered by GHM.
