You Can Help

For decades, Global Health Ministries (GHM) has created opportunities for people to engage in global mission. In 2019 more than 3,000 people volunteered at GHM, many volunteering in our warehouse to help send medical supplies and equipment to waiting partners around the world. Individuals donate crutches and supplies they no longer need, hospitals and clinics donate overstock and equipment they’re replacing because of upgrades, or because their health center is expanding, or contracting. Knitters knit, quilters quilt and hundreds of small groups and individuals across the country send hands-on projects to GHM to help the hands that heal. People with health administration or clinical care expertise get involved as GHAP consultants, sharing information, resources and mentoring with international health system colleagues. Others serve on our Board of Directors or other Committees, or serve as Office Volunteers. And still others share financial resources, their generosity helping fuel this ministry. One of the most important ways people get involved is simply by sharing our story.

“I LOVE volunteering at GHM! I love to problem solve and be creative, there are always opportunities to use my abilities. I finish the day knowing my efforts support our partners and those that they serve.”

— Carol Harwood, GHM Volunteer
